SEO For Google In Five Easy Steps

Search engine optimization is a comparatively easy process than it seems. There is a misapprehension that it takes hours and loads of hard work. Though that is not true, it can be easy and would take less time if you follow these five SEO Google tips:

So take an easy step forward to Google SEO with these steps to higher search engine positioning:

a) Website composition
Make it a point that you have specifically gone through the website composition as it largely affects the location of your website among the rankings of search engine. Rating of the website with any search engine largely depends on the prioritization of the code or rather how a specific code is presented on the web page. Most websites that are rated higher are basically because there navigation is visible on top of the web page. Although the tip is not same for every website owner as for you need to be careful that you present the core or the important part of your website first and foremost to let search catch first. So, it is very important to carefully plan the constitution of your website, especially when you are looking for better visual based navigation. Professional help is already available for such a task, however, if you wish to gather some more information on structural methods to get good search engine optimization; you have them here:

(i) Designing Without Tables Using CSS
(ii) CSS Zengarden
(iii) DezWozHere

In case you are looking forward website constitution now and would like to prefer table structure, you must have a look at the article on Table structure of Beanstalk’s Mary Davies collection.

b) Content development
Content development and search engine optimization are intricately linked. It concerns your keywords and the content quality. The format of the webpage and the content layout also includes this very aspect of your website. For a good content you must confirm three things to your webpage content.

(i) Keyword density
(ii) Content format and layout
(iii) Relevance of the site articles for user assistance

The term keyword density refers to the number of repetitions keyword gains in the article content in ratio to the total words on the web page. Generally, the optimal keyword density waves somewhere in between the range of 3 to 5% and in case you wish to check the where your website keyword density is, you can check out with our following tools:-

(i) Overture’s Keyword Density & Rank Checking Tool
(ii) Keyword Density (from digital point)
(iii) SEO Chat Keyword Density Tool

Content format and layout:
Content should be specifically be marked and differentiated with the different font size and style. Bold the headers in the main tags which present the anchor text with italics. In addition to this make sure you also bold the main keyword on the web page as this will help in catching viewer’s attention, and this is obviously would bring you under the reign of search engine.

Relevance of the site articles for user assistance
The content of the site is basically for your representation and user orientation. Besides that it also acts as a help guide for the user. For example, if you are mortgage firm, it will be easier for you get a good ranking with search engine, if you have the entire content surrounding the mortgage. In short the content should bear relevance to the purpose of the website.

c) Link Building
Link building is easy but calls for attention to some important aspects such as what is the purpose of your site and does it any way relates to the website you have linked yourself to. According to Beanstalk, there are three ways in which one can go for a link building regime. The method you use largely relies on the client and the kind of the website the client owns. You can quickly see a shift in the ranking of your website if you follow these steps.

Reciprocal link building can be used along with directory submission method. Reciprocal link building can be useful, if you have a lot of sites on web related to your industry. Reciprocal link building is actually a tag that ties, for example a broker website with a mortgage website. While, articles writing and submission calls for a team of good writers and editors, forums building will require build a separate space in your website to answer queries and view comments of the users.

d) Inviting links
Inviting links depends on the usage of correct tools, and content also plays a important role in link baiting. Inviting links can be easy if you are regular with publishing articles and blogs. Regular press release and consistent feedbacks can also bring you in the eyes of websites looking for links.

Social networking
Social networking also holds value in web networking as it gives you a personalized search fallout. It is basically forms a community and gives an advance search option. For example, if I log on to a website and find it useful and simultaneously another user who access to same website happens to be my acquaintance than we have a common link to our assistance. However, in case I or the other user logs on to the other website for same assistance, than the information would come to me as well. Bookmarking is another option that can help.

Top Five Blogging Tips to Promote Your Blog and Home Based Business

When you first created your new blog, chances are that you have virtually no traffic coming to your blog. This is in spite of how beautiful your blog may look, or having a well written, rich and exceptional content posts. This article shares some of the best blogging techniques that you can use in promoting your internet home based business.

Blog Commenting

One good way to find targeted quality readers for your blog, is through blog commenting on other similar niche blogs. If you focused on similar niche topic on other blogs, the readers will be very interested in what you have written as well as your valued opinion.

This is even more so if you have already established yourself as a well known expert writer in your business niche. Within a similar business niche, you probably share a lot of common interest with these people or marketing similar products for your internet home based business. However as there are no two marketers who have the same approach in providing profitable solutions on their online business opportunities or ideas in promoting an internet home based business, the continuous contact among bloggers would always be welcomed by all.

You may not see instant traffic growth, but if you make commenting on blogs a daily practice, you will over time, see quite a big number of bloggers of similar niches, visiting your blog.

Frequent Blog Posts

Now that you have learned that Blog Commenting will over time, bring targeted traffic to your blog, you really need to ensure that you always have good, unique and useful contents to offer your readers. Place yourself as the one looking for useful information or brilliant ideas to make money for your own internet home based business. You would like to see creative and unique contents that you think are vital to your business growth or your new online business opportunity.

Youâ??re Blog Title Tags

Title tags are what comes up at the top of the browser when viewing a page and shows up in search engine results as the title of your post. It is also the only information available to the surfer after he puts his query in the search engine box, so it is important to put your best effort here. Your title tag description should include your keywords you are targeting for your internet home based business. It must therefore describe your contents not only accurately but convey a well-written message to entice the reader to want to click further to read up the information that you offer for your online business opportunity. The keywords in your title tag may or may not be necessarily found in your website content page.

Get Feedback from Your Readers

Have you ever felt like impossible to write fresh, unique content for your blog? Sometimes you also felt like you have reached a stage where you donâ??t have any new developments to update on your internet home based business. How are you expected to satisfy your readersâ?? demands? Well, one very good way is to obtain a feedback from your readers. You can easily put a feedback section on your blog and customize some simple questions to obtain such feedback that will give you more ideas to write about. However do ensure that you have sufficient people participating in the feedback before you arrived at the results.

Guest Blogging

Guest blogging really means you write a blog post at someone elseâ??s blog or someone else writes and publishes a post on yours. One of the benefits of doing this is provide your readers with fresh articles to read or showing a different aspect of the topic. It also provides better exposure for you and your internet home based business which you are promoting. Depending on how high the page rank of the blog, you may enjoy higher traffic on your blog posts and more importantly to your main webpage. One of the benefits of guest blogging is that you are no longer bound by rules governed by article directories, allowing you more link in your post, or anchor text pointing to your website.

2008 Blogging

Essential Steps To Productive Blogging In 2008 And Beyond

Blogs are now one of the most popular ways to communicate on internet. There are many reasons to create a blog. It can be a journal, it can be a platform, and it can be a guide. However, the basic difference between a website and a blog is that blogs are the websites where you can advertise but cannot sale anything directly. The thing you are selling in a blog is word.

There are many strategies to make your blog popular. The very first thing you should look for is the subject of the blog. If you are not confident enough on the subject you are creating the blog on, you cannot make it interesting. So, be clear about the matter you are writing on. Try to be informative, but always write in a casual tone. You are not writing an article, but you are telling something to your reader to grow her/his interest. You are not writing a story, neither a poem, but you are writing a copy to sale. There should be points that attract the reader to explore the matter.

You need a host to promote your blog. Be sure about the reason you are creating the blog. There are hosts like Google who can prop up your blog. Before that, however, you should be sure about the purpose of your blog. Not only Google, there are many other popular sites who have their own blogs and who host for outsiders as well. To grow up your knowledge about the matter, you can always visit the popular blog sites.

It does not matter, how often you publish new post in your blog, but you should be sure about the readability. If your posts are not easy to read, no one will access them and people will dump them in one corner. So, you should always maintain the quality of your writing.

Do not mess up one blog with many topics. You should concentrate on one thing for one blog. If you have a business to promote, you should not confuse your customer. So, consistency is a very important point to make a blog popular.

Make sure that you have provision for the viewer to comment on your posts. Never neglect any comment on your blog, try to prolong the dialogue with the visitor as much as you can. This is a simple trick to keep people in your blog for a long time. It also helps to increase the popularity of your blog. As much you will interact, you will get new visitors. So invite comment on your blog.

A productive blog should be interesting as well as easy to read. If you want to sale your blog you should know about SEO or search engine optimization. If you are done with your blog completely, you should try to optimize your blog.

Try to increase the trafficking from the search engine. Pick up the most important words or group of words from your blog and highlight them as the key words for your blog. If you can create popular key words, you will get high traffic for your blog. High traffic, in turn, is always directly proportional to the output that you generate from the blogs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Different and Better, June 11, 2009
By Alexander Scherr – See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)

I have owned both Kindle 1 and Kindle 2, so I’m already committed to the basic idea: e-ink reading in a slim form factor with excellent connectivity to a large selection of books and subscriptions. I have come to rely on my Kindle experience, and it has seriously enhanced my reading.

The DX was not an obvious upgrade for me, but two features put me over the edge: the larger screen, and the native PDF reader. I now have the DX in my hands, and can report PROS, CONS, and NEUTRALS:

PROS:

– the larger screen is a definite plus. I use the larger type size on my Kindle 2 (older eyes), and at this type size I get far more text per page on the DX. This makes the whole reading experience more book-like (and should be a boon to people who buy large-print books.)

– the screen is also sharper and crisper than my Kindle 2 in a side-by-side comparison: the text is darker, and the contrast is much better, making for better visibility overall.

– on a side note, the larger screen also makes it possible to read poetry on the kindle, even at large type sizes. On earlier Kindles, the smaller screen cut off lines, so that you would lose the sense of when the poet ended the line. On the DX, you can see the whole line exactly as the poet meant it, with the cut-off in the right spot.

– the PDF reader works as advertised, and is extremely convenient. PDF documents appear on the DX exactly as they do on a computer screen. Moreover, you can drag and drop your documents directly to the device using the USB cable (or use the for-a-fee email if you absolutely must.) The only downside: at least for the documents that I’ve used so far, I cannot adjust the type size as I can with native Kindle documents.

– screen rotation also works as advertised: it operates as a mild zoom on both graphics and text and offsets slightly the downside of not being able to adjust the typesize on PDF documents. One nice design touch: the four-way navigation stick introduced on the Kindle 2 is rotation-sensitive, and will move as expected relative to the screen rotation.

– more of the device space is devoted to the screen, while the white plastic border around the screen seems to have shrunk, both in general and compared to the proportion of screen to plastic on the Kindle 2. I like this (but see below about the keyboard).

– storage: I like the increase in storage space, and don’t mind the lack of an external storage card. I can see some people having trouble with this, but only those folks who either a) must regularly carry around PDF documents totalling more than 3.5 GB of space or b) must have nearly 3500 books regularly at their fingertips. I fall in neither category.

CONS:

– price: it’s expensive, as you can tell pretty quickly. If you value the larger size, and the native PDF reader, these features may justify the roughly 30% premium you pay for the DX over the Kindle 2. In truth, the DX SHOULD cost more than the Kindle 2, and a 30% premium isn’t unreasonable. But, for my money, Amazon should drop the price on the Kindle 2 to $300 or so, and charge $400 or a little less for the DX. Still, I bought it, and will keep it at this price.

– one-sided navigation buttons: all of the buttons are now on the right side, and none are on the left. I’m a righty, so I shouldn’t complain, but I found myself using both sides on the Kindle 2. Lefties have reason to complain, I think.

– One-handed handling: I often read while I walk, with my Kindle in one hand, and something else in my other. Because of the button layout, this will be more difficult on the DX.

– metal backing: I miss the tacky rubberized backing on my Kindle 1. When I placed my Kindle 1 on an inclined surface, it stayed in place. Not so my Kindle 2 and now my DX. This is not a complaint specific to the DX, but it’s still there.

NEUTRALS (i.e. things worth noting):

– weight: the DX is heavier, noticeably so. This is only an issue if, like me, you regularly use the kindle with one hand . . . and even so, it’s still doable.

– keyboard: the keyboard has 4 rows, and not 5: the top row of numbers from the Kindle 1 and 2 has been merged into the top qwerty row, so that numbers are now only accessible with an alt-key combination. The keys are vertically thinner too, so that the whole keyboard is no more than 1″ tall (compared to over an 1.5″ on the Kindle 2). At the same time, the keys themselves are a bit easier to press, a bit more protruding than on the Kindle 2. For someone with big fingers (like me), this will be a slightly harder keyboard to use, but only slightly.

That’s all I can see. Overall, the pluses outweigh the minuses for me, and I’m satisfied with my purchase. I can now think of using my DX for work documents on a regular basis, because of the PDF reader. The screen size and screen rotation make the overall reading experience more immersive.

Overall, the DX feels more like text and less like device and comes closer to the stated goal of the Kindle: for the device to disappear, leaving only the joy of reading.

3.0 out of 5 stars DX not quite all that, June 13, 2009
By Susan Lynn Umpleby “Susan Umpleby” (Ontario, CA USA) – See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)

I owned the K1 and then the K2 and love them both, so I was really looking forward to the DX. My plan was to use the DX at home, and keep my K2 for carrying all over creation with me. It wasn’t long, though, after my DX arrived the day before yesterday before disappointment set in.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a LOT to like about the DX:

1) Pictures are awesome on it, if the publisher formats them properly.

2) Those who complain about darkness of text on their K2 (a problem I’ve never had, btw) will be thrilled by the DX’s very dark text.

3) The ability to rotate the screen is great. Gives you a closer look at things like maps and charts.

4) The browser is a bit faster than on the K1 or K2, though that isn’t saying much–it is still very clunky to use.

5) But web pages look pretty good on the DX.

6) It holds 3500 books.

BUT…..the DX just isn’t all that. It has drawbacks that are really making me consider sending it back before my 30 days are up:

1) First and foremost, while it is true that it natively reads PDFs, it is really only a PDF *viewer*. You can’t change the font size on PDFs, links will not function on them, and the ability to magnify pictures doesn’t work on them either. So you better have LARGE fonts on your PDF before you load it. Looking at the PDF in horizontal mode helps a bit, but not by much.

2) The DX is too big to hold comfortably. It’s not really all that heavy, but it is top heavy and you feel a pull on your hands. And that pull is really evident if you try to use the keyboard while holding it–you practically have to lay the DX down flat, it becomes so difficult to type.

3) They merged the number keys with the QWERTY keys (losing a line of keys). What development genius thought it would be helpful and an “improvement” to have to press the ALT key every time you wanted to type a number?!?

4) Before my DX came, I really didn’t think this would bother me at all, but I have to say: I really HATE the fact that the “next page” button is only on one side. I mostly use the left hand button. And yes, with the DX’s rotation ability you can turn it upside down, placing the “next page” button on the left side…. However, when you do this, the button is so high up that you have to slide your hand (not your thumb, your whole hand) up in order to turn the page. May sound nit-picky, but it is truly a PITA to break off reading to do it. Not only that, but having the keyboard at the top makes it even more top-heavy than when it is right side up!

5) when you rotate the DX so that it is horizontal, the “next page” button is either at the bottom or the top–in either case you can’t just flick your thumb and change the page. Again, a PITA.

6) If you leave the rotation feature on “Auto” when you are not using your DX it drains your battery, so you must remember to turn the feature off when you stop reading.

7) Still no folders. An organization nightmare three times bigger than that of the K2 (which itself had increased the same problem on the K1): the possibility of storing 3500 books but only being able to sort them by author, title, and “most recent first.”

I will be fiercely debating with myself in the next week or so, on whether I really want to keep the DX. It is so disappointing. It has the potential of being a really great e-reader…but as it stands now, it isn’t. It’s OK. But for $489, it should be a lot more than merely OK.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
FIRMWARE UPDATE as of 11.30.2009:

I have now M-Edge Platform Jacket for Kindle DX (Genuine Leather–Pebbled Navy)–Back to School Sale!! because you can set the Kindle up to stand by itself on the table next to you or a lap desk. This makes it easier to to view music, knitting patterns, or just plain books (addressing some users complaints about it being “too heavy” to hold comfortably).

I had been disappointed that the Kindle automatically goes to sleep after 5 minutes because if you are using the Kindle for reading patterns or music, it times out on you while you are still “working” on a page. However, Amazon come out with a new firmware release… the Kindle DX now stays on for 20 minutes before going into screen saver mode which is a big improvement.

In addition, with the new firmware, you have the option of converting your PDFs to Kindle format — which should address the lack of “zoom” and “annotation” features — at least there is a workaround for now.

UPDATE as of 06.16.2009: The Kindle may have just literally saved my career and saved my “backend”. I had an interview yesterday and thought I knew where I was going. I’m one of the last dinosaurs not to have a Garmin and got lost. After circling around for awhile and getting more and more uptight about missing my interview, I remembered the Browser on the Kindle.

On the K2, the browser was basically unusable because of the size. However, with the DX, I was able to go to Google Maps, look up the address and had my directions in just a couple of seconds. The map was rendered beautifully and the turn-by-turn directions could be bookmarked and even if my DX fell asleep, it awoke still displaying the directions. THANK YOU KINDLE!!!

Blogging Revolution

November 30th, 2008 admin No comments

Earn From Every Website or Blog Visitor With the Ppp Revolution!

My blog readers know I am always looking for easy ways to make a few bucks here and a few bucks there without doing a ton of work. The PPP revolution is kicking off in February of 2008. It’s free to sign up and takes advantage of the switch by advertisers from the Major TV networks to small websites and blogs on the web.

What is PPP? It’s “Pay Per Play”. Essentially it’s a 5-second audio ad that plays as soon as your website or blog is opened by a visitor. Each ad is tied to your content, much like Google Adsense, except the visitor doesn’t have to click anything. It is truly auto pilot at its best. In a hurry? See my Author Box below.

I am a former broadcast journalist. I predicted that the TV networks were going to see a drop in viewers with the advent of Cable TV. That was a no-brainer. But, I also predicted that they would lose ad revenue to Cable and to the Internet as more and more homes hooked up to both. Unfortunately for me, I never thought of how to capitalize on the shift that has taken place as I predicted.

In recent years, advertisers have been secretly placing products and ads in Hollywood movies through computer editing. They have gone back through older movies and, by computer editing, inserted products and ads that were not there in the original version of the flick. They are usually in the backround but visible nonetheless.

Now, thanks to some shrewd thinkers, PPP has been developed and major advertisers are signing up in droves. It launches in February of 2008 but, for a limited time, they are signing up website and blog owners right now. The more they can get to sign up, the more they can charge for ad placement, the more money website and blog owners can earn for doing absolutely nothing.

You can bet that slots will fill fast. Several of my webmaster friends signed up the same day I told them about it and they are contacting their email lists as I write this.

There is a concern about annoying website/blog visitors. I placed their “test” file on one of my blogs for a week and got zero negative feedback because the ad only plays for 5 seconds. But, if your particular audience objects, you can simply remove PPP.

They claim (but don’t name) that one of the top five search engines has partnered with PPP. This should benefit websites and blogs who are signed up with PPP just as Google Adsense does. Of course, that remains to be seen but, since sign up is free, there is nothing to lose.

PPP works on a bid management system similar to Google Adwords and will compensate publishers just like Google Adsense but with one critical difference – website and blog owners will earn revenue on 100% of their traffic with no clicks necessary! In case you don’t know what Adwords is about, it’s a program where advertisers bid on keywords that visitors are likely to click on when those keywords are searched or put in an advertisement. Part of the amount they pay, when their ad is clicked, gets paid to the website or blog owner who allows the ad to appear. PPP does exactly the same thing but without the clicks by visitors.

Yours for success.

Jim DeSantis

Blog Lawsuits

November 30th, 2008 admin No comments

Yaz Lawyers Discuss Drug Defect And Fraud Lawsuits

Yaz lawyers are pharmaceutical product liability attorneys and medical fraud lawyers who are currently investigating and filing claims against the manufacturers Bertex/Bayer. The evidence to date suggests that the use of Yaz and Yasmin are associated with heart attack and stroke, other venous and arterial thrombotic and thromboembolic events, deep vein thrombosis, DVT, thromboembolism, pulmonary embolism and blood clots and well as hypertension, cardiac arrhythmia, gallbladder disease and other side effects.

From the Yaz lawyers’ perspective, the Yaz/Yasmin lawsuits are relatively unique as pharmaceutical product liability litigation because of the evidence of misrepresentation, fraud and over-promotion of the drugs on the part of the manufacturers, both misrepresenting the potential benefits of the drugs and minimizing their risks. Some Yaz lawyers will approach the litigation solely as pharmaceutical product liability lawsuits; others, with experience in medical fraud litigation will want to include causes of action also for fraud and misrepresentation, and will likely seek punitive damages for manufacturers. For a more complete discussion you may consider “Yaz Drug Fraud, the Lawyer’s Perspective” an article that also considers objectively the options to pursue Yaz litigation in the context of large MDL or class action cases or as individual litigation.

The evidence of the Bayer entities over-promotion and misrepresentation of both the benefits and risks of Yaz have yielded the concurrence of the FDA, in letters to the manufacturer. In 2003 the FDA wrote to Bertex Laboratories, then the manufacturer of Yasmin, a company subsequently purchased by the Bayer entities, stating: “The TV ad misleadingly overstates the efficacy and safety of Yasmin by suggesting that Yasmin is unique and therefore clinically superior to other birth control pills because it contains the chemically different progestin drospirinon.” Despite the FDA correspondence, Bertex and then Bayer continued to mislead the public in their advertising, both misrepresenting the drug as superior to other birth control pharmaceuticals and minimizing the risks.

In 2008 the FDA wrote to Bayer, again warning of the misleading character of its television advertisements for Yaz and Yasmin to obscure the risks of the drug. According to the FDA “The overall effect of the distracting visuals, graphics, concurrent supers and background music is to undermine the communication of the important risk information, minimizing these risks and misleadingly suggesting that Yaz is safer than has been demonstrated by substantial evidence or substantial clinical experience.” And the risks that the FDA considered were minimized by Bayer in its advertising, included venous and arterial thrombotic and thromboembolic events, such as myocardial infarction (heart attack), thromboembolism and stroke, hepatic neoplasia, gallbladder disease and hypertension.

Our Yaz drug fraud lawyers consider that there are substantial advantages to including fraud and misrepresentation “causes of action” to the usual strict product liability and negligence claims commonly brought in drug product liability litigation. One advantage is that there will be the potential to obtain “punitive damages,” in addition to the usual compensatory damages, to punish the drug company for its misrepresentations and to set an example so that other drug companies will not use the same tactic of misrepresentation again.

Punitive damages may indeed be deemed appropriate and justified. As the result of the Bayer entities misrepresentation of the benefits and risks of Yas and Yasmin in its television commercials it quickly obtained an advantage over the other manufacturers of birth control pills. Our Yaz drug fraud lawyers consider that the success of Yaz and Yasmin indeed can be directly attributable to its misrepresentations with regard to the drugs purported benefits over other birth control pharmaceuticals. The Bayer entities have made their huge profits in substantial part because of their advertising misrepresentations, and as our Yaz drug fraud lawyers analyze it, punitive damages would be justified to strip Bayer of its ill-gained profit and to set the example for other drug companies that they too must refrain from misrepresentation as the means to gain the competitive advantage.

Posting on Blogs – What You Need to Know to Get Blog Traffic

Posting on blogs is easy. Getting blog traffic is not. There are a lot of blogs out there and only so many blog readers to go around. If you are thinking about posting on blogs or if you are already posting on blogs but not getting the kind of blog traffic you want, there are a few things you can do to make your blogs more interesting than some of the other blogs you are competing with.

Research Prior to Posting on Blogs

Blogs that get a lot of blog traffic have one thing in common: they cover topics that people are interested in reading about. To make sure your topics will be of interest to the general public it is a good idea to research various topics before posting on blogs. You can perform general searches on the Internet to see what’s popular and what’s not. You can also read other blogs that are similar to yours. If they have high blog traffic and lots of comments, they are probably hitting on good topics.

Consider Your Tone before Posting on Blogs

Blogs are different than news stories. People read blogs because they want to hear opinions along with facts. And as crazy as it might sound, people want to hear YOUR thoughts. Don’t be afraid to state your case or add commentary when posting to blogs. Personal opinions, tone, and writing style all help to draw in regular blog traffic. So, consider these things carefully before posting on blogs. They will have a huge impact on your success.

You Can Get More Blog Traffic with Short Posts

Posting on blogs is slightly different than posting on other types of web pages. Blog readers like short posts–really short posts. Short blogs are fun and easy to read. Long blogs, on the other hand, look intimidating and time consuming. If you want people to actually read what you are posting on blogs or if you’d like to see repeat blog traffic, it is a good idea to present as much information as you can in a limited number of words. A good rule of thumb when posting on blogs is to keep each post under 250 words.

Think About Blog Traffic Posting On Blogs

Quality doesn’t always equal success when posting on blogs. There are lots of good blogs out there that don’t get a lot of blog traffic. The reason is because nobody knows they exist. You can avoid this pitfall by thinking about blog traffic before you begin posting on blogs. Things to consider specifically include keywords and keyword phrases. If you can use natural keyword placement in the blog’s title and throughout the body of the text, your posts stand a better chance of making it into search engine rankings and a better chance of drawing more blog traffic.

Always Think About Your Readers When Posting On Blogs

When posting on blogs nothing is more important than your blog traffic (a.k.a. your audience.) Some of the things readers like to see on blogs include: snappy headlines, bulleted or formatted lists, links, and information that is easy to scan.

Blog Indexing Sites

7 Ways to Index Your Blog by Search Engines Within 24 Hours

So you started a new blog – now what?

Now you need an audience.

In order to attract an audience, you need search engines to bring you traffic.

In order for the search engines to bring you traffic, they need to know your blog exists.

In order for the SE to know that your blog exists, it needs to be indexed.

How do you go about it?

#1. Add your blog to YOUR OWN IGoogle, Yahoo!, and MSN RSS feed account – this will trigger the search engines to follow the RSS link back to it.

#2. Blog communities.

There are several blog communities that have good search engine rankings and if you add yours to their list, Google will have no choice but to index it.

Noteworthy: make sure you have your ducks in a row with your description, keywords, and tags. Also, list your blog in the correct category.

#3. Site Evaluation & Stats Sites.

Personally, I am not a big fan of those sites (it’s hard to rely or even trust their numbers), but they can serve a good purpose in helping you index your blog.

Once again, many of them have good Google search engine ranking and, when you check your site stats with them, they will automatically create and store a page with your site information on it.

#4. RSS Directories

List your blog with OctoFinder and FeedAdage RSS directories. Once they accept your feed, they will track your new posts and index them on their sites. You might even get some traffic through them, although I would not count on it.

#5. Social Media Sites

This is another very effective strategy of indexing your blog quickly, particularly if you use the same user name as your blog name/domain name.

For instance, many of my social media accounts are registered under “YourNetBizCafe” – consistent with my branding and theme.

#6. Article Directories

Publishing an article on sites like Squidoo, HubPages, EzineArticles (this list can be endless) will also help your blog to be indexed quickly. Obviously, make sure you use links back to your site with appropriate keyword-rich anchor text in either author resource box or throughout the article body, depending on what is allowed by the specific article directory.

#7. Misc Sites

ChangeDetection provides page change monitoring and notification services to internet users worldwide. After you provide them with your URL, they will ask you if you would like to add your page to a public directory. Obviously, say yes. Your site will then appear in their news section, which will be crawled by search engines sending them to and indexing your blog.

Technorati is a great blog directory and will definitely help you get your blog indexed. Unfortunately, it won’t happen overnight. It can take sometimes up to a couple of months for them to add your blog to their directory. So it’s not an immediate indexing strategy, but very well worth doing for long-term advantage.

Well, that’s all I can think of and trust me, it’s more than enough.

Following these tips will not only get your blog indexed within the next 24 hours, but might also bring you some traffic, which is the next big step for your brand new blog.

NOTE: you can also use most of these strategies to get ANY other site like a lead capture page listed by search engines.

By the way, the easiest way to monitor your “indexing” progress is by visiting IndexedByGoogle.com.

Happy indexing!

Php Blog Engines

November 30th, 2008 admin No comments

PHP Tutorials

In this article I will speak about PHP programming language and try to make it clear for every newbie which wants to start learning php. But, for beeing able to start learning this computer programming language, you should start by understand what is this and what is doing.

Well, PHP is a server-side programming language : server-side? means that the code is interpreted at level of the PHP engine installed on the web server. PHP is open-source (free at no cost). Beeing free of charge makes it very popular and I would say easy to use.

Where can be used php? Everywhere on the web, and I think desktop application can be coded too with the GTK feature but I dont know much about it so I will stop here talking about this. On the other side, for the web application development, you can build dynamic websites, database driven websites (for example MySQL, PostreSQL, etc.), diverse web forms like a contact form which will insert the infos into database system or send details entered in the form to a specified email address, etc.

How do you start the ball rolling? Well, please start reading introductory tutorials on php official website, then get a project in mind and try finding requirements needed for this project. This is the best way to learn : by practicing, not just reading tons of borring tutorials.

Once you got a project in mind, you will definitely need a php engine to be able to execute the code. How do you make this? Simply install a webserver like apache, add php server to this and mysql database engine. You’ll find a lot of documentation to help you doing this or there are a lot of ready made packs wich includes, php, apache, phpmyadmin, mysql, etc for example easyphp web server or xampp. They’re free and easy to install.

The second thing is to register at specific forums, where you can get support and help from the php gurus, because you really need fast help when errors will occure, and by the way, trust me you’ll encounter a lot of “strange” errors at the begining, which later will become just a routine.

And lastly, do not forget to get a nice code editor with code colloring, code auto-completion feature is very important too which will make developing faster. My tip here is to use Zend IDE (the php company) which is the best and includes mentioned features. Also, Adobe Dreamweaver is not bad, you can use that too which is nice for html/css client side scripting. I assumed that you already know html at least, it is very recommended to know it to make things clear in programming.

And, for the begining this should be enough for a novice to begin to learn php programming language at the basic level. Later, with the time and projects which are mandatory for progress, you’ll get experience and will advance maybe to OOP (object oriented programming) which is another thing important.
Good luck in learning!
